Everyone has to eat, but the foods that we choose to eat can either have a good or negative effect on our planet. Although most people have never considered that the food that they purchase can have this effect. One more thing you may not recognize is that these foods can also have more than one unfavorable effect on our planet. So we have decided to go over a couple of the negative impacts that can be created by buying certain foods.

The one thing that you may never have given much thought to is that in order to get the foods to the grocery stores it is usually trucked in from all over the country. Nevertheless it doesn’t end there as Americans will in addition ship in foods from several countries. And particularly in the event the foods are coming from other countries the quantities of fuel needed to get them to our stores can be astronomical. To begin with let me describe how the foods get to our stores when the food source is in America. When the farmers pick the foods, the foods will then have to be delivered to a distribution center. The food is then sent from here to the supermarkets warehouse the location where the foods get examined again and made ready to be delivered to all the stores. And more fuel is utilized again for the trucks to have the ability to supply this food stuff. You should also realize that the fuel is not the only way we are polluting our planet. Chemical fertilizers are not the only hazard as these farmers will also be using other chemicals for the purpose of making sure the crops they are growing will be as big as possible. When the chemical substances are sprayed on the vegetation you will find that these chemical substances will not only end up polluting our air but also our soil. While some will argue that the foods can simply be washed off, what about the chemicals that seep into the foods?

But it doesn’t end with the different types of chemical fertilizers as other chemicals are also sprayed on our foods. Chemical pesticides that are nothing more than a kind of poison, will also be applied to all of the foods. After they spray this poison, it naturally doesn’t only hit the food but it gets soaked up in to the dirt and spread all through the air. These farmers will even cover the actual foods we’re intending on eating in these poisons and some other chemical substances.. Our government claims the food is fine to consume, then again exactly why are more and more folks getting sicker and sicker each year?

If you choose to only by organic food that has been harvested locally you can do your part to help with this pollution. This can allow you to in fact make a positive change in the pollution from the trucking industry simply because that will be just a little bit less that they have to deliver. Additionally by making certain all the food you purchase is organic you will not only be helping your state of health, but you will be helping by not adding to the farmers which are utilizing these chemicals. While this is of course bad for the atmosphere, there is another way we are contributing to the pollution of our planet. All of these farms will be using chemicals on the food to help them get a better crop. This can be done with chemical fertilizers and other chemicals that can make the food grow bigger. And when it comes to the application of these various chemicals you will find that traditionally they will be sprayed on the plants, causing the pollutants to end up not only in our soil but also in our air. The other thing you should consider is that no matter how much you wash these items, there will always be trace amounts of these chemicals in the food itself as it is brought up by the roots and absorbed the foods.

You may already know this but these fertilizers are not the only chemical that ends up in our foods, in our atmosphere and in the soil. You will find that farmers will also use poison (chemical pesticides) to keep bugs from ruining their crops. And the same as the other chemicals they will spray these poisons on causing them to go into the atmosphere and soil. Ideally it is very clear that gifts that give back is one thing that can have quite an impact on you and others, too. It can be difficult to cover all possible examples simply because there is so much concerned. But I wanted to stop for a moment so you can reflect on the value of what you have just read. This is important information that can help you, and there is no doubting that. The last outstanding areas for conversation may be even more important. These farmers will also cover the actual foods we are planning on eating in these poisons and other chemicals.. Our government says the food is fine to eat, but then why are more and more people getting sicker and sicker each and every year?
